Clarity, precision and quick and easy desktop publishing are the essential qualities of the website that we created for this contemporary art space in Valls, Tarragona. The site is both an archive and an informational platform: it includes the exhibition records for the last four years, and has a blog witch is regularly updated. All this has been achieved with a clean design that highlights the unique architecture of the Capella de Sant Roc.

2010 / Client: Albert Martinez Lopez-Amor and Museu de Valls

The art galleries of Catalonia, with the support of the Generalitat’s Department of Culture, decided to promote the art sector by organising a series of public events banned ‘The Autumn of Art’. The Hill & Knowlton agency and Albert López-amor won the competition to design the promotional campaign and invited us to look after the website design, which uses Digital PR programming. We were delighted at this initiative in cultural promotion and it was a genuine pleasure to work with such strong and well-defined artwork.

2009 / Client: Art gallery associations and the Catalonian Generalitat’s Department of Culture

It’s an educational programme for secondary schools aimed at preventing the risks associated with gambling. The company responsible for the content, Mediterrània Publishers, employed us to design and produce an interactive comic. This project, which has great social value, gave us the opportunity to experiment and get into the highly innovative means of programming different ways of navigation. The script is by Meritxell Margarit, the illustrations by Alademosca and the  interactivity by Stelios Kourakis.

2009 / Client: General Directorate of Gaming and Entertainment of the Generalitat of Catalonia

Setem Catalonia contracted us to take care of the strategy and design for a campaign promoting free trade coffee in the university cafeterias. With the help of Stelios Kourakis and Roger Pau, we developed an interactive site that explains the social and ecological advantages of the consumption of Fair Trade coffee. The site includes a calculator attached to a form and a counter which shows all the signatures in favour of the action. As a result of its originality and impact, it was considered a great success.

Editor, curator, article-writer, a designer and more… Oscar Guayabero is a restless cultural activist who cannot be pigeon-holed and with whom we have collaborated on a number of different graphic projects. In this case, it was his personal website, which we created as an online platform which expressed his ideas and his understanding of design and visual culture. Laia Jutglà and Alicia Quadras are responsible of the development of this page.

A designer, teacher, curator…Uli  Marchsteiner is one of the leading names in the industrial design of Barcelona. It’s always very rewarding to collaborate with him and one of the best examples of our work together was the creation of his personal website – an attractive site in which we managed to present his work in an impactful way. The artwork was by David Torrents and the site development by Anto Rocamora and Dani Julià, who customised Kiwoo (a free open source content manager) to achieve the desired results.

The Design History Foundation aims to research, spread and promote the history of design. Andreu Balius eminent typographer, who created the artwork, invited us to participate in the creation of a website for the DHF. Together with Roger Pau, we created a site which stands out for its excellent legibility – this is an aspect which is particularly important for the Foundation given the large volume of information that has to store and publicise.

Designer and illustrator, Marti Abril mainly devotes himself to designing picture books. He asked us to design a website that would show his portfolio and his unique vision of design. We created the artwork in collaboration with Anto Rocamora , and Alicia Quadras developed the site. The result is a website with an original navigation and a visual appearance that reach the level of excellence of Marti’s graphic production.

The designer Martí Abril, creator of the Mediterrània artwork, invited us to create a new website and online shop for this publishing company which specializes in books for infants and youngsters. We enjoy working with experienced companies (Mediterrània Publishing has been going for over 25 years) who have a positive attitude and know how to adapt themselves to changing times, so this was a very satisfying process. Those responsible for this work were Anto Rocamora and Alicia Quadras.

Olga and Silvia Ibars are restorers of works of art and polychromy. They run a family business that was founded in 1920. They asked us to create the design for their business cards and we suggested that an effective symbol would be the wings of a 17th Century angel in their private collection.
